He is risen indeed.
Join us for a short service reflecting on the crucifixion, death, and sacrifice of Jesus.
What is Good Friday?
Good Friday is the day Christians remember and reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ—His suffering, death on the cross, and the weight of sin He bore for the world.
It’s observed during Holy Week, two days before Easter (Resurrection) Sunday, and it's a day marked by sorrow, silence, and solemnity.

Easter is the celebration of rebirth.
2000 years ago, Jesus was killed on a cross. ✝️
THREE days later, he came back to life and established hope for all people. This hope is that those who believe that he is Lord will taste this same miracle—new life in the age to come. Jesus claimed that the Kingdom of God is at hand, and those who join him will find true life!
Every year, we celebrate this miracle. Celebrate with us this Easter at Commission Church.
Join us on Sunday, April 20th, for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.
You are welcome to join us for service prior (9 or 11am) or join us just for the egg hunt starting at 1pm.
We will have different areas for kids based on their ages. Everyone will have a chance to fill their basket with eggs! Please bring your own basket or bag!
We will also have bounce houses for kids to play on as well!

Every Easter, we offer the opportunity to experience the waters of Baptism.
The Apostle Peter claims:
21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
Enter the waters of Baptism is a physical reflection of dying with Jesus. Emerging from the water, one reflects the new life found in the resurrection of Jesus.
We baptize on Easter to be reminded of the NEW LIFE we find in Christ.
